Client Coaching Agreement

This Coaching Agreement is a formal contract established between you (’the Client’) and Jasmine Jaume (’the Coach’), outlining the terms and conditions of the coaching services to be provided.

Taking part in coaching sessions indicates your full understanding and acceptance of the information and policies outlined in the below agreement.

Services to be provided

The Coach will provide professional coaching services to the Client via telephone/Zoom at the agreed times.

Coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of your life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that deciding how to handle these issues and implement choices is exclusively your responsibility. You understand that professional coaching services are not in any way a replacement for therapy, counseling, legal counsel, or medical advice, and agree that you will not use coaching in place of any therapy. If you are currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, please ensure that you consult with this professional about your decision to engage in coaching.

The Coach makes no guarantees, representations or warranties of any kind or nature, express or implied with respect to the coaching services negotiated, agreed upon and rendered. You are wholly responsible for any decisions you make or actions you take based on the coaching, and the Coach shall have no liability or responsibility for any actions you do or do not take. In no event shall the Coach be liable to you, the Client, for any indirect, consequential or special damages.

The Coach agrees to maintain the ethics and standards of behavior established by the International Coach Federation “(ICF)” (coachfederation.org/ethics).

Fees & Payment

All fees must be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the session. For convenience, you will receive a link to make payment for the agreed fees by credit or debit card. If you would like to use a different payment method - such as Venmo, check or bank transfer - please let me know.

Upon completion of any initial commitment, if we mutually agree to continue the coaching relationship we will discuss new terms and pricing at that time. Purchased sessions must be used within 1 year of purchase date, unless otherwise agreed. Any sessions not used within this timeframe will be forfeited and will not be eligible for a refund.

Scheduling

It is your responsibility to attend sessions as scheduled on Zoom. Please ensure you are in a quiet, distraction-free, and comfortable environment where you will be able to speak openly and honestly. Coaching sessions cannot be conducted while you are driving, intoxicated, or otherwise occupied.

Unless otherwise agreed, we will have a designated time slot for your coaching session every 1-2 weeks and you will receive a recurring calendar invite for this time. This time slot will be held for you as long as you are continuing with regular sessions. If you do not attend sessions for more than 1 month or if you move to an ad-hoc schedule (once the initial agreement is complete), a specific time slot cannot be guaranteed — though I will always do my best to find a slot that works for you. If on an ad hoc schedule, it is your responsibility to schedule sessions via the links or email provided.

We will begin and end our sessions on time but I understand life happens, so if you’re running late I will always wait 10 minutes from the start time before considering it a paid/forfeited no-show, as per the cancellation policy.

You are welcome to email me in between sessions with accountability/homework check-ins or questions. I’ll aim to respond as quickly as possible - usually within 2 working days.

Cancellation & Termination

If you need to reschedule a session, please give at least 24 hours notice. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours in advance or do not attend your session, it will be considered a forfeited paid session. If you have an emergency, please let me know as soon as you can and we’ll work out a solution.

Either party (Coach or Client) may terminate this contract at any time for any reason with 48 hours written notice. You agree to compensate the Coach for all coaching services rendered through and including the effective date of termination of the coaching relationship.

Confidentiality

The Coach will keep all information shared by the Client - including that we are working together - in the strictest of confidence. The only exceptions to this confidentiality are:

  • You agree to allow your name and contact information to be added to a confidentially-held list for the purposes ONLY of tracking coaching hours in service to the Coach gaining ICF certification.

  • Confidentiality will be breached if there is danger of harm to yourself or others, in compliance with ICF ethical guidelines

  • The Coach may ask for testimonials for promotional use - this is optional and will only be used with your written consent. You may request anonymity in connection with any testimonials used.

Sessions will not be recorded nor AI assistants/transcription services used without your explicit permission.

Commitment

You have chosen to hire me as your coach because you want to make changes in your life. As your coach, I am fully committed to you being successful and having the life you want. I ask that you as a client are also fully committed to the process and to the investment you have made in yourself. Changes may take time, or may come quickly. If we hit any roadblocks, we will work through them together. If we need to make any changes to our coaching relationship or agreement, I ask that we spend time looking at the issue(s) together and mutually decide how to resolve them.
